After School

Each day, nearly 150 youth attend our after school and summer programs. Our programs maximize the out-of-school learning that is crucial to bridge the learning gap between low-income families and their high-earning peers. To our students, the Center is just a fun place to come.

The Harvard Family Research Project (2008)  concluded that children and youth who participate in effective after school programs can reap a host of benefits, including improved academic achievement, improved social and emotional development, healthy lifestyles, and prevention of risky behaviors.
