November 1st-3rd were some of the most eventful days of this year by far.The process has taken a few months, but in just 3 days @predsfoundation and @kaboom have changed our lives forever! Build day 1, started with a lot of digging and leveling out the ground. Day two, we got a few poles and concrete to hold them. Now…day 3…. On day 3, over 200 volunteers filled our parking lot. Generous hearts came together eager to make this all happen. In just 6 hours, this amazing playground was built piece by piece. “A child’s laugh could simply be one of the most beautiful sounds in the world.” On Monday, our kiddos got to finally see the big reveal. They ran as fast as their little legs could go! Backpacks, snacks, or whatever was in their hands were flung to the ground. “I can’t believe it!” Their screams of excitement filled the air as they got to jump and run on their brand new playground. Kaboom’s mission is to end play space inequity and it is an honor to receive this blessing thanks to [preds]. When great minds and generous hearts come together, the world is a better place. Our children can now have a play space in their community where they can feel safe, heard, and that allows them to simply be children.

Our kids got to play games, do arts and crafts, traveled to each classroom that was decorated to trick or treat, and got to enjoy an amazing haunted maze done by our friends @tntrucking . Our annual Teen Honors Trip is something that our children work toward ALL YEAR LONG. As YES navigated how we could be a resource to our families during the hard times of COVID, we came across the brilliant educator who we have came to know + love as “Mrs.Izzy”. Izzy helped structure a safe space for our kids to learn while schools were closed. She has made her passion and care for our children apparent from day 1- so obviously we had to keep her! 😂❤️ Izzy continues to make learning a joy for our kids by leading a program called READY. The ultimate goal of the twice weekly program is to encourage students to have a lifelong positive attitude towards reading and to increase literacy skills. Thank you for your service Izzy! It is a twice weekly program created by our dear Mrs.Izzy developed in order to encourage a life-long positive attitude towards reading 📚 This program includes interactive activities and opportunities for children to use their creativity!

We had a great time at Napier’s Night Against Crime! It was such a joy to be a part of an amazing event with amazing vendors who are pushing towards change!

We said YES to adventure for our annual summer trip 🤩 Thank you Kentucky for showing us an amazing time. Starting off our trip at the Muhammad Ali Center, our children were able to grasp a deeper understanding of who Muhammad Ali was & the legendary acts of justice he stood for during his lifetime. Thank you @alicenterlou for having us! Our next stop was @kentuckykingdom 🤩 where everyone was able to not only have fun, but also experience science lessons about potential + kinetic energy in action! 🎢 And last but not least, the Sneaker Ball!! Everyone surely stood out in their unique sense of fashion for this amazing event hosted at @manhattanonbroadway by @nachabdspeaksbrand Our babies were able to let loose as we danced the night away 💃🏽🕺🏽 Thank you to all of our supporters who made this trip possible! 💛❤️💜

Everyday, our angels have the opportunity to choose a book of their interest & dive in for 30 minutes. This year’s Bible camp theme was “Faith over Fear” And WOW, the feeling of love and grace showered us all during this week in nature. Our YES family was able to gather with the love of Jesus as our center ❤️ Thanks to our generous supporters, we were able to give our children an experience of a lifetime.

Our kids eyes’ lit up as Cody spoke of his journey in the wrestling world. Every word that came from Cody’s mouth was powered with love and determination.. the determination to live out his dream.
